Who is eligible for Accident Alert?

To register and access the Accident Alert feature, you must be an active  Momentum Insure policyholder. Safe Dayz^TM and Safety Alert need to be   activated to achieve optimal functionality.

What technology is used for Accident Alert?

GPS, motion sensors, and accelerometers in your phone detect in real time  if you have come to an abrupt halt or decelerated sharply. Your GPS location  is also used to dispatch emergency responders in the event of an accident.

Do I have to enable GPS for this feature to work?

Yes, you will need to always have GPS enabled for this feature to work.
